Custom Solution & Software Development

Our background as a solution provider with extensive experience in software application development, gives Adage the unique position to assist our clients in solving specialized technology needs. Our legacy of experience extends beyond just networks to include how networks interact with applications, middle-ware, databases, hardware, operating systems, and storage systems.

One example of an Adage custom software solution led to the development of a specialized CRM application for a nationwide broadband Cable service provider. The solution provided a portal for correlating data from the billing system, provisioning system, and the SNMP MIB values of network devices. In another example, we expanded the capability of an enterprise network management platform by developing a custom probe to collect non-SNMP statistics for monitoring. In another example, we developed customized scripts for one of our clients to better leverage the benefits of MRTG .

As part of any custom software development engagement, Adage will perform the following tasks:

  • Develop the Requirements details
  • Research the options available through existing products
  • Develop a solution using a combination of off the shelf products and custom software
  • Design and develop the custom components
  • Test the integrated solution
  • Provide complete turnover implementation and training

Business Intelligence Application Software

Adage has developed a software engine to analyze business information using the Microsoft .Net technology and Multi-dimensional databases.  The software allows the user to look at data in several different views without compromising processing speed.

Some key benefits of the framework architecture of the software are:

  • Provide business intelligence analysis capability on a 'browser'
  • Process multi-dimensional data that already resides in MS-SQL or Oracle databases
  • Developing "what-if" modeling scenarios by simulation and overriding data entry
  • Analyze faults on the infrastructure, payroll expenses or purchase orders
  • Analysis engine can be reused by simply changing the data.
